colander
Colanders are so useful for draining vegetables, washing fruit, leaves or herbs or as a fruit bowl. The advantage of a pottery colander is that it can be put back in the oven to keep food warm, as well as used to serve from at the table. Made in red earthenware clay, colanders are decorated with white slip and coloured glazes on the rim and on the oak leaves. Available in green/tan or blue/brown.
